FLOOR PLAN GUIDANCE

We will consider who will be living in the home. You may be older with grown up children, a young couple with younger children, or elderly. You may or may not want stairs. We will consider your lifestyle and how you intend to use your home.

Consideration of all these factors will help create the ideal floor plan for you.
Together we will create a list of rooms you wish your home to include, rooms for the essential, rooms for leisure, and custom storage spaces.

Once this list has been established the ideal size of each room will be determined, after which we will add design features to each room such as niches and windows.

Each room will have both an architectural and furniture plan. Homes are often built where windows for example are in the wrong place for the furniture you wanted.

Your current storage situation will be assessed so that your new storage spaces are more custom to your belongings. You may have a collection that you wish to show case for instance.

Exposure to sun from windows will also be considered. Once all the rooms have been planned they will be connected together to give you optimal use of your floor plan for your lifestyle.
